About Me:
I have been teaching since age 13, which now celebrates 35 years of teaching ministry within the church. I was single until age 40 as I spent my life in ministry and working with the church. I met my husband, Russell Morton at Ashland Theological Seminary where I earned my MACE and my Mrs. :0) My heart and passion is Christian Education and the Teaching Ministry of the Church, especially children and youth ministry. God has called me to teach adults in higher education and to share ministry experience as well as academic training with students. I serve as Mansfield, OH Area Team Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child and love this ministry. My home is always filled with toys and shoeboxes! I have a heart for international students and love sharing/learning of the culture. I give all glory to Him!

In 2005, my study of leaders and their churches showed that still 71% of churches are doing very little regarding prevention of CSA. In fact, the average church only has 4 steps out of 16 in place. These 16 steps were compiled fro… Continue

Sure! I'd suggest RE and perhaps a denominational publication. I'm in the Christian church, so the Stone-Campbell Journal is our academic publication. I don't know your affiliation, but it probably has an academic one!

Dawn,
Yeah, I know it looks that way (that I'm always online), but that's not really how it is. It's just that I've had to process dozens and dozens of new members on the ning site in the last few days and to keep up with it, I've had to definitely be on here much more than usual. But it's a blast and I'm excited about all the growth of the site and the renewal of connections people are getting. Take care!

Thanks Dawn: I really appreciate your kind comments. It was an interesting time for me there. The class was about twice the size it should have been, but I still enjoyed it. many thanks for remembering me! Also, I really like your pictures.

Good to see you as well! Your pics look great...you look very happy. I decided to go back to Southern and get the PhD via the EdD to PhD exchange program. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment!
